Dungeon Defenders Never Coming Back To Android, Says Trendy Entertainment

Sad news for fans of Dungeon Defenders today. Trendy Entertainment, in a recent blog post, has confirmed that Dungeon Defenders on Android will not be returning.

Android fans, I have some bad news to share with you. I sat down with the development team to talk about when Second Wave will be coming back to the Google Play Store. I’ve been informed that Second Wave will not be coming back to the store. Our previous hosting arrangement for the game expired, which is why the game went down from the store. To modify the code to use Google’s new content hosting features is too costly.

Dungeon Defenders used the Gamespy service, which recently shut down the servers to a number of games one of which was Dungeon Defenders. According to Trendy it is to costly to convert the code over to the Google Play store, which means Dungeon Defenders is gone and never coming back.

RIP Dungeon Defenders
