Hexen GLES Resurrects An Old Classic

unnamed (38)

Hexen was one of the most intense shooters available on the PC back in the 90’s, casting you as one of three heroes to defeat the evil Korax and his horde of trolls, goblins, and demons. Hexen is the sequel to the previously released Heretic. An action rpg FPS, Hexen featured an in-depth class system that helped to differentiate it from the game its engine was based on, Doom. Doom GLES maker Kokak is back again with Hexen GLES, cooked up with the same magic sauce that powers Kokak’s other GLES titles. 3D hardware acceleration, enhanced rendering, and added effects all help to bring new life into this PC classic. With support for the Xperia Play and MOGA controller, Heretic GLES is sure to have the features on everyone’s wishlist.

– High resolutions
– Realtime dynamic lighting
– Particles effects
– Blood projections
– Realistic water effect
– Xperia Play gamepad buttons (touchpads not supported yet, probably later)
– Keyboard support (USB, bluetooth, embedded)
– Gamepads support (analog sticks support on Android >= 3.1)
– Moga controller support
– Buttons mapping (Xperia Play / USB GamePads / Keyboard)
– and much more

Hexen GLES is $2.14 on the Google Play Store, not a bad price for such a classic game.
