First Look At Riptide GP 2


Vector Unit’s Riptide was one of the go-to games Nvidia used to show off the power of its Tegra 2 and then Tegra 3 processors. Console quality graphics and real time wave simulation proved that developers would no longer have to compromise on graphics when developing their games. With the Tegra 4 flagship, Project Shield, launching in the next few months, Nvidia has been taking Fridays as an opportunity to show off some of the great new software coming out for the Shield.

Today, we get Riptide GP 2, an ambitious sequel that looks to do for Tegra 4 what it did for the previous two SOCs. Check out the video below to see all the neat new effects added to the experience and why Riptide GP 2 will be one of the biggest Project Shield launch titles.
