Batman: Arkham City Lockdown Is A Kindle Fire Exclusive
After being released for IOS last year, Batman: Arkham City Lockdown is finally available on Android but with a catch. For the time being, NetherRealm’s Unreal engine powered smack down is exclusive to the Kindle Fire through the Amazon App Store. A spinoff of last years Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham City Lockdown is a 3D brawler that draws heavy inspiration from titles like Infinity Blade and Blood & Glory.
Players will don the mantle of the dark knight himself in a series of one on one fights with a who’s who of DC universe villains. Gorgeous looking cut scenes and a few mini games will break up the action, with a full set of achievements to unlock like its console brethren. Completing various challenges will unlock new attacks and skins to give your Batman a distinct feel. Kindle Fire owners can pick up Batman: Arkham City Lockdown for $5.99 through the Amazon App Store, while the rest of us will have to wait until later this spring when it launches on Google Play.
