Rogue Miner Is A Crafters RPG Dream

The independent developer behind the hidden hit Gem Goblin is back with a spiritual sequel that towers above its predecessor. Rogue Miner from Martian Artic Games is a new puzzle rpg with heavy crafting elements and a rogue-like vibe. Imagine the adventure portions of Minecraft were a classic game made in the ’90s and you’ll have a good idea of what to expect from Rogue Miner.

The games hero, the Rogue Miner, has been trapped in a strange world with nothing but his wits and the environment to survive with. Players will help him dig his way out of deep procedurally generated dungeons filled with precious gems and ferocious monsters. He’ll need it if he’s to have any hope of unlocking the secrets of the 7 temples and defeating the guardians of the pyramid.

The games combat system is an ode to classic PC rpgs of the past, and requires more than a good bit of strategic aptitude to master. By mining for the precious metals that make up each level, players can create deadly new weapons to use in combat. Most rpgs allow you to customize your weapons to some extent, but Rogue Miner lets players modify and trick out their spells as well.

Rogue Miner is a great new rogue-like rpg that will appeal to ‘crafters everywhere. You can pick it up for $1.99 on Google Play.
