The Tapping Dead Shambles Onto Google Play

I think we can all agree retro platformers are awesome, but what could make this already iconic genre even better? Why, the same thing that makes anything better, zombies of course. That’s the thinking behind indie developer Crazy Cricket’s inaugural game The Tapping Dead. This pixelized platformer features classic retro action fused with ultra simple touch screen controls. Just because the controls are simple doesn’t mean the game is though, as The Tapping Dead is one of the more challenging games we’ve played in a while.

Players will help their specially picked character run ‘n jump his/her way through over 150 levels filled with zombies, ghouls, and other creatures of the undead variety. Your character will automatically progress and it’s up to you to make sure they time their actions right lest they get eaten by a flying gremlin.

  • Challenging, like old school 90’s games!
  • 5 Creepy Buildings!
  • Retro Pixel 80’s style!
  • Tap and Hold!
  • Over 150 Levels!
  • Original Music!
  • Collect Zoins and unlock new areas!
  • Mini game to recover lives!

The Tapping Dead is a fun platformer that fans of Relic Rush and other retro style games will love. It’s available for free on Google Play.
