Sprinkle Island Squirts Its Way Onto Google Play

Developer Mediocre has just released the next installment in the Sprinkle series with it’s release of Sprinkle Islands. If you haven’t played any of the Sprinkle games their set up is pretty straight forward; solve various puzzles (usually extinguishing a fire of some sort) through the use of realistic water physics. It’s a unique mechanic, and Sprinkle Islands looks like it might just be the best in the series.

Sprinkle Island takes place on the beautiful island of Titan. Recently a space ship that was hauling garbage from Earth went off course and is now dropping burning trash all over Titan’s peaceful islands. You must use your handy firetruck to extinguish the fires and return the islands back to their former glory.

  • Four distinct islands with a total of 48 levels provide hours of challenging entertainment.
  • Amazing water physics – The original Sprinkle set a new standard for water in mobile games. Sprinkle Islands improves on that with endless oceans, pools and floating objects.
  • Aquatic boss battles – New to Sprinkle Islands, players will find dramatic boss battles at the end of each island.
  • Revamped touch controls – Refined controls let players focus on the task at hand, solving brain-tingling puzzles with their water cannon’s stream.

The original Sprinkle was downloaded by over 8 million people, so you’re pretty much guaranteed a good time with Sprinkle Islands. Click below to grab the paid version for just $2.08  or try out the free version if you’re unsure.
