Blood Sword THD Swings Onto Google Play
Of all the games Nvidia has used to showcase its new Shield console, none has been more prominently displayed that OneQ Software’s Blood Sword THD. At nearly every event previewing the new hardware Blood Sword THD has been front and center and rightly so, the Unity 4.0 powered hack n slash rpg is a gorgeous looking dungeon romp that sports the very latest in mobile graphics technology. With the Shield’s launch date having finally arrived, so has Blood Sword THD, which is now available for both Tegra 3 & Tegra 4 devices.
Blood Sword THD is a fairly straight forward brawler reminiscent of dungeon crawlers like Diablo and Torchlight. As a generic yet badass knight it’s up to players to fight their way through hordes of fearsome monsters and towering bosses using the titular Blood Sword, a weapon of immense power that draws strength from enemies with each hit. In addition to next generation graphics and addicting gameplay, Blood Sword THD also supports bluetooth controllers for an authentic console experience.
- Differentiated and Optimized for Tegra 4
- High-end 3D quality based on Unity 4.0
- Support touch pad, game controllers and keyboards
- Various PhysX effects supported
- On the boss scene, quarter-view is changed to TPS view
- Dynamic sound effects
An excellent start to the Shield’s lineup of launch titles, Blood Sword THD is available now for $.99 on Tegra 3 & 4 powered devices.
