You control your movements with the game’s tilt and rotate functionality, and I have to say that this looks like a total sensory overload. This is one of the most warped games I have ever seen. Past Memories from Give Me Five Games

Past Memories is a new ‘runner’ that has been developed by a small indie development team out of Brazil called Give Me Five Games. The game has a heavy focus on a unique atmosphere and a deep storyline that is completely unique to the genre. The story follows a woman that must escape the nightmares of her oppressive past. Each of her memories is distorted and filled with obstacles and enemies that must be overcome if she is to succeed. This woman isn’t able to fight her enemies, so she’s going to have to run for her life if she’s going to make it out alive.

Pocket Dogfights from Zerobytes

Pocket Dogfights is a throwback to oldschool arcade aerial combat games that takes a heavy dose of inspiration from the days of 80’s arcade gaming. You will take to the deadly skies with your goal to destroy all of the enemy fighters, jets, and bombers. Along the way you will pick up a variety of different power-ups that will give you an advantage and help you to find victory in the most difficult of situations. QbQbQb from Rezoner

QbQbQb is a falling blocks game that has just made it’s way to Google Play. The game started out as a game in the Ludum Date #26 competition, but the developer has been hard at work making a more polished version of the initial release. The best version of this unique falling block game is finally available for Android gamers, and I couldn’t be happier to finally get a chance to give it a shot.

Ship Battle from Kipsap Games

Ship Battle is more or less a strategic turn-based game that plays more or less like the classic boardgame Battleship. You and our opponent will set your ships where you think they will be the hardest to find, and then you will take turns selecting different parts of the grid with the goal of destroying all of your opponents ships before they can destroy yours.  However, there is one major twist that makes Ship Battle stand out from the competition, and that is the fact that you can play this classic game against as many opponents as you want to! Best of all you can take the action online and vie for the top spot on the worldwide leaderboards.

Star Boy from Tomi Korkalainen

Star Boy is a new platforming game that takes the majority of its inspiration from the best classic games from the genre. The graphics have a great chunky pixel look to them, and the game itself sports a more challenging level of difficulty than you would expect to find in modern platformers. The level of challenge is a real throwback to the classics.

Star Boy really loves stars, so you’re going to have to help him to collect all of them. In each stage you must gather all of the stars as quickly as possible if you want to set a high score. Along the way you will have to avoid a varierty of dangerous creatures and animals, while also dealing with some of the game’s unique gameplay elements.

If you have been trying to find a solid retro inspired platformer you shouldn’t have to look any further than Star Boy. It’s gorgeous retro graphics and solid gameplay are sure to give you a nice feeling of nostalgia. You can download Star Boy right now for just $0.99 from Google Play.

Tribot from deVoid Games

Tribot is a fantastic 3D endless runner that was crafted by a two man indie team out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While this game was released a few months ago for $0.99 it just recently dropped it’s price and has become a free download for all. I’m guessing this was due to a lack of interest, and I really hope that this price drop has earned this great endless runner some additional downloads. Tribot sports some nice graphics, some unique gameplay elements, and tonnes of the addictive objectives you’d expect to find in any endless runner. But more importantly than anything else Tribot is just a joy to play. You can’t afford to miss out on this fantastic indie title.

Check out the funny Tribot trailer to see the game in action: Tribot Full Trailer
