Upcoming Arcade Game ‘Toast Time’ Gets a New Trailer and an Official Release Date

Toast Time is an upcoming (and completely insane) arcade game from the small UK indie developer Force of Habit. The team has been working on this truly bizarre game for the past 12 months, and they have finally decided that it’s about to finally release it to the public. Force of Habit has just announced a price for the game, the official release date, and a brand spanking new gameplay trailer.

If you haven’t yet heard of Toast Time this is a game that any fan of arcade-style games needs to check out. These easiest way to describe it would be to say it’s a mix of shoot-em-up and tower defense, but it’s so much more than that. You play as TERRY, a humble and solitary toaster with an uncontrollable love for English breakfasts, hats and scheduling. Using the game’s intuitive touch controls you will be launching toast, crumpets, and a wide variety of other breakfasty items at the numerous bad guys that want to see you to your demise. You must do whatever it takes to defend toast time and save Monday Morning!

And now… the announcement trailer!

Toast Time is going to be released onto Google Play on September 5th, 2013. The game is going to launch at $1.49 for its first week as part of its launch sale, and after that it will go up to it’s regular price of $3.00. This is just a few days away so be sure to mark it on your calendar now. You’re not going to want to miss out on this one!
