Breakfast Themed Arcade Game ‘Toast Time’ Pops Up on Google Play

Toast Time, the first commercial release from the small UK indie developer Force of Habit has finally made its way onto Google Play. This team has been hard at work on getting this game ready for release for the past 12 months, and it really shows. The games brilliant high action gameplay, unique and extremely polished graphics, and bizarre concept make Toast Time a game unlike anything else you have ever played before.

We made a post earlier in the week about Toast Time, but if you missed out on it here’s what this game is all about: You play as TERRY, a humble and solitary toaster that has taken it upon himself to defend Toast Time from those that want to destroy it. Using the game’s intuitive touch controls you will launch a wide variety of breakfast-y items at your enemies, including toast, crumpets, bagels, and baguettes. You are Monday Mornings last hope, so get loaded up on bread and other breakfast delights and get ready to cause maximum toastruction to all who try to put an end to Toast Time.

Throughout your adventures with TERRY you will unlock achievements, set high scores on the leaderboards, and unlock new weapons and outfits by collecting ‘crates’ in the game. There is a tonne to do here and a tonne to unlock, which will make any completionist more than ecstatic.

  • 45 action-packed missions.
  • 16 exciting bread-based weapons.
  • Iron man survival mode.
  • Bonus COFFEE TIME mode.
  • Loads of colourful hats and customisations.
  • Addictive and original gameplay specifically designed for touch.
  • Achievements and online high-scores.
  • Super-slick audio and calibrated soundtrack — each level has it’s own track!

Right now Toast Time is available for the low price of $1.49 on Google Play as part of a tasty launch sale. The game will return to its regular price of $2.99 in about a weeks time, so be sure to get it while it’s hot!
