Pixel Karts GP Drifts Onto Google Play

Pixel Karts GP is a great new retro-themed kart racer from the indie development team Flying Cartridge. This team has been working in the video game industry for a few years now, but Pixel Karts GP is their first release as independent developers. They have created a racing game with gorgeous voxel art graphics, a great chiptune soundtrack, and most importantly high speed racing action.

In Pixel Karts GP you will find yourself in the seat of a high powered go-kart. You’ll be competing against several challenging opponents in fast paced races, all while you work on mastering the game’s frenetic driving mechanics. Pixel Karts GP is kart racing in it’s pure high octane form as there are no power-ups, (though the devs have stated that they’re tossing this idea around). All of this non-stop racing action takes place in a stylish retro themed world that is sure to remind you of some oldschool games from your childhood.

  • Genuine old-school driving experience
  • Modernized retro graphics and sounds
  • Challenging AI
  • Seamless menu – race transitions
  • No in-game loadings
  • Each kart class has his own distinctive handling mechanics

Gamers that are looking for a highly stylized retro racer with realistic go-kart elements really have to give Pixel Karts GP a serious look. Luckily for all of us the developers have released two version of the game; a free version that is ad-supported with somewhat limited features, and a paid version that has all content available and is ad free. This full version is set at the low price of just $0.99, so speed on over to Google Play and grab this game today.
