Kickstarter Spotlight: Elliot Quest

Elliot Quest is an upcoming Kickstarter project that has been dubbed as the “spiritual successor to Zelda II: The Adventure of Link”. From what I’ve heard and seen about this game this seems like an extremely accurate description of Elliot Quest. Elliot Quest is an adventure-RPG that puts you in the role of Elliot as he explores the mysterious Urele Island. He is in search of an evil ancient demon, but his path to getting there wont be an easy one. Elliot will have to navigate his way through 8 dangerous dungeons, defeat over 16 deadly bosses, and collect a tonne of valuable of treasure along the way. Elliot Quest is just spewing classic-adventure gameplay, and that far from being a bad thing!

The Story:

Elliot Quest is the story about a young adventure named Elliot. So Elliot’s wife has just disappeared, and being overwhelming by feelings of sorrow Elliot tries to take his own life. However… he can’t do it! Surprisingly it isn’t because he did it wrong, but it turns out that a curse has been placed on him by an evil demon named Satar. You might think that not being able to die would have some serious bonuses, that isn’t the case for poor Elliot. This specific curse keeps him alive, but it is allowing Satar to slowly consume his vitality by the minute. This curse has also caused Elliot to be plagued by horrific nightmares, and he finds that he is growing weaker and weaker by the day. If Elliot can’t find a cure soon he is bound to become a Satar himself! His only hope is one of the island’s Guardian’s that has kept Urele Island safe from the Satar for many years. You must hurry as even though Elliot can’t die, his time is still quickly running out.
