Welcome to the 20th edition of our weekly Indie Game Round-Up. So this week’s is being posted a bit later than it usually is, but that’s only because we’ve been working extra hard to put together another stellar list of indie games for you all. There are certainly a lot of good games this week, so take a look – and remember to vote for your favorite game in the poll at the bottom of the page!

006 is a simple, fun and fast-paced color-matching game that will put an end to your free time. The game sports three unique gameplay modes that allows the player to solve puzzles by themselves or compete with their friends for a new high score. Sounds simple, but it’s addictive as heck!

99 Waves to Die is a twin stick arcade shooter that’s a throwback to classic arcade shooters from the 1980′s. This means this game is going to be HARD. The devs of 99 Waves to Die certainly do, and they’ve done an awesome job of recreating this experience for gamers both old and new. You are a dashing daredevil pilot on a dangerous covert mission into enemy territory. You must maneuver your way through the deadly skies and survive for as long as possible. FlyBy has great physics based gameplay reminiscent of the classic 8-bit era of gaming. There is plenty of dodging enemy fire to do and obstacles to avoid, but there are also tons of cool powerups that you’ll be able to pick up on your journey. Flyby also features randomly generated level design, online leaderboards, and a plethora of achievements to unlock.

Ittle Dew features a unique storyline, great HD “wobble” graphics, and a tonne of puzzles that will really test the way you think. The gameplay is highly addicting and it’s classic elements are sure to give gamers a nice kick of nostalgia too. So what are you waiting for?Ittle Dew and her trusty sidekick Tippsie need your help!

Ittle Dew is a game that I think all gamers need to check out. It is a fantastic Zelda-esque adventure game that has an unbelievable amount of polish and it could quite possibly be the best game available on Google Play. This game costs just $3 on Google Play, which a major steal considering it normally sells for $13.99 on OUYA and PC! Definitely jump on this game right away! You wont be disappointed.
Morphopolis from Micro Macro
Morphopolis is a truly stunning game that puts you in control of an aphid grub that is beginning his epic journey through his metamorphosis. This point-and-click adventure game takes place in one of the most beautiful game worlds I have ever seen. As you play you will interact with the beautifully illustrated world while solving brain teasing puzzles and collecting hidden objects that have been scattered throughout the environment. The visually beautiful gameplay is accompanied by an equally beautiful musical score, and together they draw the player into a mesmerizing game world they wont soon forget. Morphopolis is a game that you NEED to check out!

Mutu from Mutu Games
Mutu is a free 2D puzzle-platformer that is all about jumping, dodging, and blasting your way through each of the game’s 140 puzzling levels. The only weapon you’ve got in your trusty rocket launcher, and that’s all you’re going to need to make it to the end of each level. By blasting away at obstacles you will be able to deform the environment in a way that will help you to reach your goal. In addition to the fun gameplay Mutu also has a great scoring system in place that is based on the number of jumps you make to complete each stage. Persist: A Tale of Redemption from Adventure Islands
Persist is a short but hugely entertaining platformer that has fun gameplay mechanics and a surprisingly deep storyline. The game tells the story of a small spirit that is trying to reach a mysterious Goddess in hopes of receiving forgiveness for his past sins. Unfortunately the Goddess is trying her hardest to put a stop to him by stealing parts of his body and the various skills that are attached to them. Each time he loses a body part the gameplay becomes a bit more dangerous, but the spirit is still determined to gain his forgiveness. Can you help this spirit reach his salvation?

The robots are in desperate need of your help! The evil Doctor Zorg captured these innocent bots and forced them to work in his factory! You must set them free by dragging them across a game board with the goal of getting them to their individual exit spot. You’ll need to use a bit of strategy to do this though as each robots energy runs down for each move you make. So it’s up to you to figure out the solution before the robots shut off for good!

Shape Jam is a new match-3 game that has you combing tiles that must be matched up by shape, colour, or numbers – or a variety of other alternatives in between. In theory this sounds like it would be easy, but once you get going you’ll quickly realize that the gameplay is more complex than you would have imagined. Shape Jam is a truly brain-twisting experience!
Another thing that makes Shape Jam stand out from other games in the puzzle genre is how it gives you the option to play offline or online games. If you take it online you can you can compete against your friends in 60 second long matches to see who can find the most matches. You can even compete for the top spot on the leaderboard if you think you’ve got the skills to do it!

Shape Jam is a stunning minimalistic puzzle game that is a heck of a lot of fun. The complex yet hugely addictive gameplay is something that you’ll find easy to pick up, but extremely hard to put down. This is an absolute must download!
Sheared from Possible Whale
Sheared is a action packed crafty game that is sure to be fun for games of all ages. If you enjoy classic shear ’em up gameplay, then you’re sure to feel right at home with this one and you should download it right away! If however you’re not entirely sure about what exactly a shear ’em up is then I’ll give you a quick rundown. Essentially you are given a clipper and your goal is to shear wool off of the various farm animals that you come across in the game. By doing this will allow you to turn the wool into yarn, and then from yarn into various crafts. You can then sell these crafts to buy valuable upgrades to your clipper’s power supply, blade power, and wool multiplier. It’s a simple formula, but it makes for one heck of a great time!

Steam Punks follows a similar style to games like Mega Man X, and it’s most definitely a solid action platforming RPG. The devs have made Steam Punks stand out by placing you in the shoes of a character in a beautifully pixelated steam punk world. Steam Punks has some of the best SNES-era graphics you’re going to find on Android.

Your goal is to strategically layer the various coloured ribbons in such a way that they match the pattern you have been given.
