Spooky Brawler Fright Fight Brings Online Fighting To Android

The highly anticipated online fighting game Fright Fight from indie developer APPsolute Games has arrived on Android and is fast becoming a huge hit thanks to its console quality graphics and Super Smash Bros. esque arena combat. Fright Fight takes a simple yet intuitive approach to its combat mechanics while still managing to keep things fun and exciting even while playing over the internet. Players can challenge up to three of their friends(or enemies) as one of four legendary mythical creatures like a menacing werewolf, a steampunk fashion loving vampire, and even a grim reaper type character that comes equipped with a deadly ranged scythe.

Unlike most fighting games that try to shoehorn in traditional gamepad controls onto a touchscreen Fright Fight thankfully employs an extremely natural feeling gesture control scheme that allows players to focus on the battle rather than if their fingers are exactly in the right position. As players engage and win in more fights they’ll gradually gain experience and be able to unlock new abilities for their chosen fighter. There’s a pretty detailed leaderboard system as well that helps to keep players evenly matched so more experienced players will be able to find a challenge while newcomers wont get immediately demolished while trying to learn the basics of the game.

There is really no other fighting game quite like Fright Fight on Android, its online multiplayer and highly polished gameplay put it in a league of its own. You can pick it up now for free on Google Play with specially optimized OUYA and Shield editions set to arrive in the near future as well.
