Booty Based Battler Freeway Mutant Lands On Android
Indie developer Butterscotch Shenanigans, the studio behind games like Towelfight 2 and Quadropus Rampage, is no stranger to making amazing games but it’s next game in development Crashlands looks poised to top anything its done before. Due to the epic nature and grand scale of Crashlands it will likely be in the oven for a little while longer, that’s why Butterscotch Shenanigans has introduced a new lineup of bite sized games to keep fans happy until then. They’re called Butterscotch Shenanigans Mini’s, the latest of which is the positively preposterous yet entertaining as all heck Freeway Mutant.
Part shooter, part runner with a little bit of RPG sprinkled in, Freeway Mutant is a simple arcade style game that will keep you coming back for more due to its tight design and enthralling nature. As a horrifying but lovable big green mutant in a post apocalyptic wasteland it’s up to players to blast their way through a swarm of mutated enemies in a desperate bid for survival. Although Freeway Mutant doesn’t reinvent the wheel, what it does it does well. Rather than create a generic endless runner Butterscotch Shenanigans went the extra mile by adding nice touches like an arcade shooter element and a neat crafting system that serves as the proverbial carrot on a stick for the player.
Just like the previous Butterscotch Shenanigans Mini ‘Roid Rage, Freeway Mutant is a straight forward and incredibly fun arcade title with high replay value. You can pick it up now for free on Google Play.
