Survival Horror Shooter Silver Zombie Shambles Onto Android

With Android gaming becoming more and more popular over the past few years we’ve seen practically every kind of genre make its way to the Google Play Store. However one type of game that has been noticeably absent from mobile devices is the survival horror genre. Indie developers XIX Games and Pixel Bones Studios aim to change that with their new survival horror epic Silver Zombie, a spooky 3rd person shooter that takes a page right out of Silent Hill to create a tense and sometimes disturbing atmosphere.

Rather than take the easy way out and just have players blasting away at zombie after zombie in a generic shooter setting, Silver Zombie’s developers have incorporated an intriguing story about a father braving the depths of hell in order to save his dying daughter told through fully animated cutscenes. It seems the only thing that can save her is a demonic artifact that is also mysteriously the cause of her illness, so with little options left and time running out he must fight his way through a terrifying horde of undead monsters in search of this otherworldly cure.

Looking for something a little more spooky than your average Android game? Check out Silver Zombie, you can pick it up now for $2.00 on Google Play.
