Deadly Arcade Runner ‘Running With Scissors’ Dashes onto Google Play

We all remember being taught early on in our lives that running with scissors was something that shouldn’t be done. Teachers and other adults told us it was dangerous, so we knew to never do it (well, unless you were a real rebel I suppose). Running With Scissors is an endless runner of sorts that follows the terrifying escapades of a boy named Jimmy; a boy that obviously missed out on this important life lesson. He has managed to get a hold of his grandmother’s pruning sheers and is now sprinting unsafely down a city sidewalk that is filled with a wide assortment of tripping hazards.

Running With Scissors is indie developer Daniel Fairley’s (aka. poemdexter) first foray into the mobile gaming scene – and if you ask me it is a fantastic first release! Initially planned as a release for Flappy Jam the developer actually postponed the release to make the game into something that wasn’t just another clone. The end product is a very hard but very simple game that’s sure to hook gamers instantly.

Running With Scissors is one of the most unique and enjoyable Flappy Bird inspired games to hit Google Play to date. It’s challenging, it’s addictive, and it’s a whole heck of a lot of fun! Best of all it’s free to download so you have absolutely no reason not to check it out!
