Cyberpunk Lightcycle Brawler Vektor Zooms Onto Android

Road Dash

After launching on iOS late last year the futuristic arcade racer Vektor is now available for Android devices. This addicting new endless runner from indie developer Cagil Bektas mixes together elements of shoot ’em ups and the classic Road Rash series to create the sort of game that the movie character Tron could only dream of playing. Except instead of a mindless computer program players are instead a kickass secret agent who’s on the run from a mechanized PMC that will stop at nothing to reclaim their stolen top secret files.

While most endless runners usually have players avoiding crashing into objects of some sort, they also don’t usually have katana wielding bikers and gigantic machine gun wielding robots to worry about. Luckily players are equipped with a crazy powerful sword of their own which they’ll need to put to good use against enemy bikers and killer automatons. This unique mix of genres works well as players will need to simultaneously weave in and out of traffic as well as chop down waves of bullets in mid air.

Whether you fondly remember the Road Rash games or are just looking for a great new endless runner be sure to take Vektor out for a spin. You can pick it up for free on Google Play.
