In addition to the online campaign editor Paper Dungeons also has 3 separate game modes that each offer something a little different. Boardgame mode offers a traditional fully fleshed out campaign complete with an epic storyline, Rogue mode challenges players with surviving for as long as possible against a never ending horde of monsters, and a really neat puzzle mode remixes the gameplay with unique new twists designed to test your tactical prowess. And if you’re the type of player that’d rather be the dungeon master pulling the strings you can of course go and design your own devious dungeons using the campaign editor then share them online while gloating like an evil villain.

Paper Dungeons is an engrossing new RPG that is sure to be a boon to mobile D&D fanatics who are tired of getting raked over the coals with in app purchases. You can pick it up now for about 3$ on Google Play which is quite the steal considering the PC version costs 15$ on Steam while a free demo version is available as well.
