Take To The Psychedelic Seas In Trippy Shooter Tsunami Cruiser

Regular readers of this site may recall my infatuation with shoot ’em up games, particularly of the twin stick variety. I consider myself to be a bit of an Android shooter buff so it is with great dismay that I must report until now I have neglected to cover one of the coolest unknown shooters on Android, indie developer Tomatic Labs’ mindbending aquatic shoot ’em up Tsunami Cruiser.

A sort of Geometry Wars inspired re-imagining of the classic retro shooter Wavy Navy, Tsunami Cruiser is a dazzling spectacle of neon vector graphics and imaginative gameplay that challenges players with staying alive in a tiny battleship aloft the waves as they blast at enemies both in the air and below sea which both present their own unique combat physics. It may be a little bit old by now, but if you like Geometry Wars style shooters at all you’ll probably fall in love with Tsunami Cruiser like I have.
