2014 Game Of The Year Winner Pixel Boat Rush Gets A Big Update
One of 2014’s best games is back with an awesome new content update that helps to flesh out its award winning combat racing concept to an even greater extent with fan requested features. Pixel Boat Rush from indie developer XperimentalZ games was our indie game of the year last year, and with good reason. This tongue-in-cheek retro physics epic plays like the mutant offspring of Tiny Wings and Twisted Metal as players take to the seas in their own pimped out death boat in a high stakes race against a host of weird characters.
Today’s update incorporates a challenging new procedurally generated endless mode where players who think they’ve mastered pixel boating can truly test their skills as well as an advanced 3-hangar boat crafting system that allows them to upgrade every aspect of their craft with specially designed pixel power ups. These two new features are completely free for existing players, with a limited time price drop from $2.49 to $.99 also providing a nice incentive for anyone on the fence to check this great game out.
