Gorgeous Classic Console Style Platformer Raby Hops On Android

Burrowing its way over from iOS to Android is indie developer Respect Studios’ gorgeous looking new action platformer Raby, a graphically impressive ode to the classics of the 16-bit era when the sidescroller was king. This traditionally designed kid friendly 2D action adventure tells the tale of a hardworking farmer rabbit out on a quest to rescue his lost crops from a band of thieving mushrooms by hunting down every last stolen carrot and head-stomping any frugal fungi who get in his way. Due to its sidescrolling shooter leanings Raby’s core gameplay feels like a pleasant cross between Rayman and Jazz Jackrabbit as players must also blast away at enemies with a vegetable gun in addition to being agile on their furry feet so as to avoid being smushed by any errant traps. With its impressive visuals, classic gameplay, and traditional iap-free pricing Raby is a great new platformer any old school aficionado will want to check out.
