Megaman Style Platformer Jump Jack Leaps Onto Android

A charming new run-and-gun retro platformer called Jump Jack has arrived and is sure to be a treat for aficionados of classic sidescrollers like Mega Man. Released by indie developer Rossman Bros Games, Jump Jack stars the game creator’s real life son as he fights to rescue his sister from an army of mean robots across 20 action packed levels filled with crazy boss encounters, hidden unlockables, and addicting combo based mechanics. While upon first glance you might mistake Jump Jack for another endless runner it is anything but as it combines traditional old school level design with highly polished touch controls for a nostalgic sidescrolling experience that will challenge even the most seasoned of retro enthusiasts. Best of all, Jump Jack is a traditionally priced game with no iap’s or ads in sight which helps to give it the same design freedom as the classics that inspired it. Whether you’re a fan of the Mega Man series or are just looking for a great platformer not marred by freemium antics be sure to check out Jump Jack. • Thanks for the article Craig! And glad you seem to really get the appeal of our game. We grew up playing retro hard platformers and wanted to make one we would have loved as kids. And best yet this game is actually about my kids!
