Pilot A Giant Robot Ninja In New Arcade Shooter Ninjet

An awesome new arcade shoot em up that mashes together an endearing space mecha theme with furious bullet hell combat aptly titled Ninjet has arrived where players can pulverize endless waves of aliens with a giant laser sword wielding ninja robot while partaking in highly polished hyper retro gameplay. Created by a team of developers over at indie studio Pixel Mystique, Ninjet not only succeeds at being a good arcade shooter but it also throws in a few special touches that fans of the genre will appreciate. The aforementioned ninja robot plays an integral role in the gameplay allowing players to transform into an indestructible mech for limited periods of time, which decimates everything short of the screen filling bosses in one blow. While players proceed through ever more difficult waves of enemies as per usual in arcade shooters Ninjet expands on this trope with a nifty reverse-Downwell style feature where the enemies, rather than the player, receive special upgrades after each round. Lasting till higher rounds allows players to face off against special bosses that offer their own special brands of bullet hell punishment. If you’re a fan of shoot em ups you’ll likely have a blast with Ninjet, which is available now for free on Google Play.
