Marble Madness Style Platformer À Toca do Tatu Rolls Onto Android

A charming tilt based platformer about perfectly symmetrical armadillos by the name of À Toca do Tatu has barreled onto Android with simple but charming overhead gameplay reminiscent of genre classics like Marble Madness and Super Monkey Ball. Roughly translating to “To the armadillo’s burrow”, this 3D adventure game from developer Jogos de Botão challenges players with rolling a mother armadillo around Playstation era inspired levels as they hop their way through tricky obstacle courses in search of her missing children.

Rather than rely on any gimmicky mechanics À Toca do Tatu adopts a minimalist approach that emphasizes platforming skills and precise omnidirectional movement. Tilt based games tend to be hit or miss largely due to their control schemes and in this regard À Toca do Tatu does well due to its responsive accelerometer controls. The lack of any micro-transactions is also an appreciable design choice that allows players to experience the entire game for free with sparse ads.

À Toca do Tatu is free to download on Google Play and does not contain micro-transactions.
