Battle Lovecraftian Horror In Slick Arcade Shooter Endless Mine

Endlessly free falling through a spooky ethereal cavern populated by an ecosystem of blood thirsty otherworldly monsters might not sound like the best time but throw in an arsenal of outrageous weaponry that can reduce them to puddles of goo and your opinion might start to change a little. Such is the case with Endless Mine, a uniquely themed survival shoot ’em up from indie developer Skirmish Entertainment that serves as a prequel to their recently released PC title End Of The Mine as well as operating as its own stand alone game. As a hapless space miner seemingly doomed to forever hurtle further and further into oblivion it’s up to players to survive a non stop onslaught of creepy crawlies by blasting them into smithereens.

In order to survive the rigors of the mine players must shoot anything that moves using a two-thumb system that gives them simultaneous control of both movement and aiming without quite being a full fledged twin stick shooter. Destroyed monsters drop coins as well as a ton of neat power ups that run the gamut of classic shoot em up weapon types for inspiration. Each run is procedurally generated which in addition to the ability to outfit one’s character with an array of useful perks helps to give Endless Mine extra replayability. If you’re a fan of shooters and macabre artwork be sure to take a look at Endless Mine.

Endless Mine is free to download on Google Play with micro-transactions. It is also available on iOS. Its companion game End Of The Mine recently launched on Steam and can be accessed with the PC button below.
