Aquatic Physics Runner Tidal Rider Surfs Onto Android

After launching on iOS back in September the surfing themed physics runner Tidal Rider has cruised onto Android. Released by indie developer Playmotive, Tidal Rider is a straightforward yet highly replayable 3D runner that challenges players with riding the crest of a gnarly wave as a seemingly never ending flock of seagulls approach from the opposite direction. While it’s a fairly simple game at its core Tidal Rider still manages to be rather engaging due to its finely tuned physics engine.

As players ride the crest of an eternally rising wave they must tap on the screen in order to make their surfer dive lower and lower. Managing the balance needed to stay on top of the wave would be demanding enough, but players must also contend with one hit ko seagulls that are constantly spawning from the right side. There is a silver lining however as sometimes these wayward gulls carry coins that players can nab to unlock extra characters to surf with. Fans of surfing games and physics runners will want to take a gander at Tidal Rider.

Tidal Rider is free to download on Android and iOS.
