Isometric Puzzler Sequel Outside World: Remembered Hits Android
The developers behind the atmospheric perspective puzzler Outside World are back with an ambitious new sequel called Outside World: Remembered that ups the ante from its predecessor while still retaining the same thought provoking approach to puzzle design. Created by indie studio Little Thingie, Outside World: Remembered picks up from where the original Outside World left off as series protagonist Kyrsten continues her journey through a maze of mystifying isometric riddle rooms. It’s up to players to help her find her way home by exploring the environment and solving intriguing new 3D conundrums.
Like its forebear, Outside World: Remembered tasks players with unlocking each levels exit by tapping to move about and manipulate their surroundings. In addition to traditional puzzle mechanics there are also neat ideas at play such as shifting personas and perspective manipulation. Graphics, audio, and story have all received noticeable upgrades from the first game which helps to bring the series into its own. Fans of isometric puzzlers will dig Outside World: Remembered.
Outside World: Remembered is available for $1.99 on Android and iOS.
