3D Arcade Runner Warpspeed VR Zooms Onto Android
A new wireframe fueled 3D runner with virtual reality capabilities titled Warpspeed VR has rocketed onto Google Play. The first of indie developer Borderline Interactive’s Warpspeed series on Android devices, Warpspeed VR is an intense arcade tunnel runner that has players zooming through stylized vector tubes at crazy speeds while an array of deadly defensive countermeasures attempt to impede their movement. Laser grids, blaster cannons, and a whole bunch more autonomous enemies await pilots skilled enough to attempt surviving this nightmare tunnel.
While VR headsets like Google Cardboard are supported with look-to-steer style controls Warpspeed VR can also be played traditionally using tilt to control one’s movement instead. As players progress further and further through the tunnel they’ll start seeing more and more enemy types until avoiding destruction becomes a matter of pure reflexes as they dodge the digital chaos exploding all around their ship. There are also multiple difficulty levels available for those that want to really test their mettle. VR aficionados and arcade fans alike will want to check out this fast paced 3D take on tunnel runners.
Warpspeed VR is free to download on Android and iOS.
