Stationary Action RPG Static Hero Journeys Onto Android
A neat new adventure game that blends the fighting mechanics of One Finger Death Punch with a persistent RPG approach appropriately titled Static Hero has made its way onto Android devices. Created by indie developer MASC, Static Hero feels like a better iteration on the clicker RPG sub-genre by introducing a great deal more tact while still retaining the same pick up and play accessibility. As a nameless hero going from area to area beating up monsters and facing down fearsome bosses it’s up to players to collect all the loot they can get their hands on so they can become the most legendary of lazy warriors that will ever be.
While players stand in the center of the screen they’ll have to slash at approaching enemies before they can get a hit in by tapping the left/right attack buttons. Timing is important as a missed swing of the sword can leave players wide open to a counterattack while they regain their stamina. There are a wide range of abilities and stats to unlock and upgrade which is good as players will need all the help they can get once they start running into situations like two gigantic bosses attacking from either side of the screen. RPG fanatics looking for a great pick up and play experience will enjoy Static Hero.
Static Hero is free to download on Google Play.
