Slimy Maze Puzzler Idioctopus Floats Onto Android

Just in time for Valentine’s Day comes an adorable new maze style puzzler about two carefree octopuses in love called Idioctopus. This romantic brain twister from indie developer Badgerhammer puts players in charge of ensuring their date goes swimmingly by safely guiding them around dangerous undersea habitats filled with creepy crawlies hungry for calamari. It’s up to players to keep these happy go lucky arthropods out of harm’s way as they frantically rearrange the environment so it’s safe for them to meet up.

Since octopuses have the attention span of a jellyfish players won’t be able to control them directly and must instead rely on shaping the path around them so they end up in the tentacles of their beloved rather than the jaws of a voracious aquatic carnivore. As one of the two lovebirds mindlessly roams about the stage players will need to rearrange redirecting arrows and disable traps so that it is automatically guided to safety. Clever level design and a healthy dose of visual flair help to give Idioctopus an endearing personality. Puzzler fans in the mood for something a bit more lighthearted will have a good time with Idioctopus.

Idioctopus is available for $1.99 on Google Play. You can also pick it up on iOS and PC.
