Orbital Platform Puzzler Gravity Galaxy Rockets Onto Mobile

You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to play the new space faring puzzler Gravity Galaxy, but it couldn’t hurt. This stylized action puzzler take on planet hopping comes from indie developer PixelByte and uses gravity wells with a dash of arcadey sci-fi to deliver unique gameplay. Equipped with a spacecraft that can only fly in a straight line it’s up to players to make their way back to Earth by carefully slingshotting around the gravitational fields of nearby planets without smashing into an asteroid or getting vaporized in the process.

In order to reach the goal at the end of each level players must tap to launch their ship at the nearest viable planet that they can then lift off from again to daisychain their way there. Things start off simple at first as players contend with small clusters of planetoids but the difficulty quickly ramps up as more and more twists like giant rotating laser fields are thrown in the mix. Collecting stars and completing missions will gain players access to a bonus mode that can unlock new skins and power ups for use in the main game. Fans of physics fueled puzzlers with a sense of style will definitely want to take a gander at Gravity Galaxy.

Gravity Galaxy is free to download on Android and iOS.
