Roguelike Platformer Journey Below Dashes Onto Android

Following its initial release on iOS last year the auto-running roguelike Journey Below has finally arrived on Android devices. Created by indie developer Ravenous Games and published on Android by Noodlecake Studios, Journey Below is a retro style platformer filled with randomized level design and light roguelike mechanics where players must battle their way underground through hordes of creepy crawly enemies and spear wielding goblins in their quest to defeat a giant boss waiting in the cavernous dregs below. Similar to games like Downwell and Nuclear Throne after completing a level players are able to select from one of three random perks which allows them to slowly buff their monster slaying abilities over the course of each run. Additional hard and endless modes can be unlocked by beating the main game. Roguelike fans will want to take a gander at this slick new platformer.

Journey Below is available for $.99 on Android as a special launch discount off its regular price of $2.99.
