Dragon Ball Tap Battle Lands On Japan’s Google Play
Namco Bandai’s slick looking new fighting game Dragon Ball Tap Battle has landed on Google Play in Japan. Similar to previous Dragon Ball fighters, Dragon Ball Tap Battle is a 2D fighting game using a traditional control scheme but with a twist. Quick time events are engaged when performing super moves or counter attacks requiring players to tap various points on the screen to be successful.
Rather than using 3D graphics as with most recent entries in the franchise, Dragon Ball Tap Battle employs gorgeous high res sprites that nail the look of the show. Popular characters from the animated series like Goku, Vegeta, Crillen and more are playable and also upgradable through the use of a playing card system that provides various perks. Multiplayer is also included so players can challenge each other through bluetooth.
Dragon Ball Tap Battle is only available in Japan for about $3.50, lets hope it sees a worldwide release sooner rather than later.
