Paradox Interactive Releases Magicka On Google Play
Hit PC RPG Magicka’s mobile spinoff Magicka: Wizards Of The Square Tablet has finally landed onto Android. A prequel to the first Magicka, Wizards Of The Square Tablet blends the spell crafting system of the PC original with a touch optimized control scheme. Players can adventure alone in an epic single player campaign and also invite friends through an innovative cross-platform multiplayer mode, allowing up to 4 IOS and Android players to quest together.
Developer Paradox Interactive went a different route with Wizards Of The Square Tablet’s controls from the first Magicka. The complex UI of the original title has been replaced with a simple tap and drag system. Combined with a mix and match spells system, Magicka’s controls feel natural on a tablet. The mobile versions graphics have also taken on a decidedly cartoonish look, drawing similarities to Mika Mobile’s Battleheart. Wizards Of The Square Tablet will set you back $2.45 on Google Play.
