Final Fantasy IV Finally Comes To Android

Square Enix’s 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV has arrived on Android at long last. This epic reimagining of the classic 1991 title follows the same basic storyline but adds an impressive amount of production value and new gameplay. Players will follow the brave knight Cecil on a perilous journey to save the world with a few plot twists along the way. Like many of the other modern Final Fantasy remakes, Final Fantasy IV has been rendered using full 3D graphics complete with voice overs and dramatic cutscenes.

This was the first Final Fantasy game to feature many of the game mechanics that are hallmarks of the franchise. The active time battle system that introduced pseudo real time battles to the series has changed little over the years, so it is appropriate this classic game got a modern update. There is also new content like a randomly generated dungeon mode and the nostalgic jukebox player.

Final Fantasy IV is available for $15.99 on Google Play and while that may seem steep, remember you are getting a full console quality game with no in app purchases to worry about.
