Hit Endless Runner Tap Rocket Flys Onto Android

Indie developer Eye Interactive, best known for its Zombie Samurai series of games, has released a new endless runner called Tap Rocket that dares to be different. Whereas most running style games usually focus on a single repetitive gimmick, Tap Rocket feels like an addicting hodgepodge of some of the platforming genres best ideas. Anyone who’s ever played Canabalt, Jetpack Joyride, or Limbo will feel right at home with challenging gameplay that keeps you on your toes.

As a nondescript yet somehow dashingly heroic astronaut who’s had the unfortunate happenstance of crashing his spaceship, players will make their way across a bizarre and alien(literally!) landscape full of bottomless pits and menacing saucers. Running and jumping from platform to platform at breakneck speeds is a big part of the game, but Tap Rocket adds a few extra twists to its genre like an admittedly awesome jetpack ability and multifaceted level design.

If you’re looking for a great new runner that involves more than just jumping around repetitevely, check out Tap Rocket. It’s available for free on Google Play.
