Hit Retro Card Game Boss Monster Brings Digital Dueling To Android

Following a successful Kickstarter campaign Brotherwise Games’ video game themed card battler Boss Monster has arrived on Android in grand fashion. In this port from developer Plain Concepts all the zany hero slaying fun of Boss Monster’s tabletop version comes to life as everything that made the physical version great is present and accounted for alongside a few extra digital only features. Combining the delightfully fiendish villainy of Dungeon Keeper with the addicting card dueling of Hearthstone, Boss Monster is a digital card game where players take on the role of a fearsome dungeon ruling boss monster as they compete with other boss monsters to slay the most heroes.

This bad guy centric premise serves as the foundation for a highly replayable card game with a good deal of strategy and nuance. As hordes of different enemy heroes come rushing into the players’ dungeon they’ll need to build out unique trap rooms in order to kill them before they can reach your boss monster and do damage. This digital version expands the gameplay even further with new cards, online multiplayer, and an increase of players from 2 to 4.

Whether you’re a fan of card games or just general villainy, you’ll definitely want to check out Boss Monster. It’s available now only on Android tablets for free with a $6.99 in-app purchase granting access to the full game.
