Challenging Retro Auto-Runner Aztec Leaps Onto Android

An intense new retro sidescroller that hearkens back to the days of “NES hard” called Aztec sprang onto Android recently courtesy of indie developer Emotion Games and while its nostalgic pixel graphics may make it seem innocent enough laying beneath its old-timey veneer is the kind of tough but fair degree of difficulty that is known to make grown men weep. Players take on the role of happy go lucky Aztec warrior Coya after an evil entity steals a mystic crystal and makes all the animals go crazy as he braves his way through 25 grueling levels in order to return the crystal to its rightful place. In addition to tricky platforming that demands precision players will also have to avoid getting eaten by the local wildlife by either jumping on their heads or throwing feathers to take them out pre-emptively. Aztec is an awesome oldschool sidescroller that retro junkies are sure to enjoy. You can pick it up on Google Play for a buck with a free demo available as well.
