Retro Physics Platformer Gravity Duck Islands Flaps Onto Android

Following its release on iOS back in 2015 the charming retro style puzzle platformer Gravity Duck Islands has waddled onto Android devices. Created by indie developer Ravenous Games and ported to Android by publisher Noodlecake Studios, Gravity Duck Islands is a sequel to the venerable sidescroller Gravity Duck that will challenge players’ perceptions as they jump, teleport, float and more around danger filled levels giving them the bird. It’s up to players to conquer four unique islands with their own strange rules of reality as they embark on a grand quest at the behest of a mystical totem.

Players guide their duck about using virtual gamepad controls that allow them to move left/right, flip gravity, and use the special ability of whichever island they’re on. In order to reach the level exit players must use their spatial intuition to safely maneuver the flightless fowl past massive spike pits and a host of cute but deadly pixel creatures. Those players adventurous enough to grab the baby ducks scattered about each level will be able to unlock a litany of suave headgear to show off. Platforming fans looking for something with a bit more thought involved will adore Gravity Duck Islands.

Gravity Duck Islands is available for $2.99 on Google Play. You can also pick it up on iOS.
