Learn Healthy Living In New Educational Platformer Arisk

There is a long and storied tradition of releasing games aimed at educating players on public health issues and it appears that Android is no exception as an interesting new retro platformer about the dangers of substance abuse called Arisk has arrived on Google Play. Released by the Australian Drug and Alcohol Foundation, Arisk is a slightly morbid old school style platformer that challenges players with ascending a vertical obstacle course while both healthy things like veggies and unhealthy things like drugs & alcohol rain down from the sky. In addition to avoiding getting hit with too many unhealthy projectiles players will also need to find natural ways of managing their anxiety levels such as working out, speaking with a therapist, and eating right. The message of how deadly these substances are is a little on the nose considering the otherwise nostalgic pixel art approach but Arisk is a still a fun little free platformer worth having a few gos at.

Arisk is free to download on Google Play. You can also check it out on PC via Facebook.
