Retro Puzzle Platformer Pug’s Quest Trots Onto Android

After having hit iOS devices last month the charming new Frogger-esque puzzle platformer Pug’s Quest has finally plopped its keister onto Google Play. Created by indie developer Ravenous Games and published on Android by Noodlecake Studios, this pixel art arcade game tasks players with storming dangerous towers brimming with pointy traps and monstrous enemies so they can rescue a group of kidnapped doggos. They’ll need to hop around one square at a time by swiping on the screen so they can solve tricky puzzles and grab lots of delicious treats for extra points. Spinning blades, collapsing platforms, and giant killer bees are everywhere in these canine dungeons so players will need to move with perfect timing if they don’t want to lose a life. After losing three lives it’s game over which means there is little room for error in this adventurous retro style puzzler. Puzzler fans looking for a more arcadey take on the genre will have a barking good time with Pug’s Quest.

Pug’s Quest is available on Android for a dollar as a special discount for its launch after which it will return to its regular price of $2.99.
